On 19th May, we will be taking over The Scene once more, with two sensational supports, and one internationally renowned headliner, The SoapGirls.

Often described as the worlds hardest working duo, The SoapGirls, French born sisters from Cape Town Mie and Millie, write outsider anthems with grunge infused guitars overlaid with harmonic vocals, as well as huge melodious overtones and metal growls that are androgynous, audacious, and straight from the heart.

With their DIY attitude and unbridled work ethic, they have been named as a band to watch out for by music critics around the globe and, armed with unforgettable melodies and catchy choruses, The SoapGirls energy, rawness, and authenticity live, has earned them a deserved formidable reputation.

Their ‘Don’t Give A Damn Tour’ in 2022 saw the band conquering new territories in USA and Japan, where they had sold out shows, and there has been much excitement and anticipation for their 2023 'Love Potion Tour'. Rock fans of all stripes can look forward to an extraordinary evening with one of the most energetic and wildest live bands out there.

The SoapGirls are a band that remind us that music can still be straight to the point, efficient, honest, and exciting, and, supported by two bands who will undoubtedly rise to the occasion, this event will be a night for the ages!

The SoapGirls supports for this event are:

Hydeout - Hailing from Sheffield with origins across the country, Hydeout is an alternative rock band, making music for everyone, for people who feel like they can’t be themselves, and people who feel like they want to live in the moment and have fun. Having supported bands like The Hara at the Leadmill, King No-One at the O2 Academy in Sheffield and Slackrr at Leicester’s The Shed, their influence on the independent music scene is only growing bigger and bigger, and their ambitions are set to match it.

Jack Kendrick & The Broken Wonders – Jack Kendrick is just your friendly neighbourhood guitarist guy based in Lincoln. He has been aired on BBC Introducing several times over the years, has performed at a live lounge session for them, and has been one of their featured artists twice. Taking elements from Punk, Country and Traditional Folk, his music ranges from soft heartfelt ballads to anthemic pieces that just want to make you sing and dance along. Backed by The Broken Wonders for this event, it is safe to say expect the unexpected.
