I was born in Stockport, Cheshire and moved to Lincolnshire in 1981, where I have since worked as a teacher of both the visual and performing arts, working with students of all ages, including adults.
I have held three large, one-man exhibitions of my work, the most recent being at the Sam Scorer Gallery in Lincoln. The exhibition, entitled ‘New Horizons’, was seen by over 600 visitors (including people from the USA, Australia and the Far East) and was very well received and a number of original works and prints were purchased. My work, especially the large pastel Landscapes are very popular and a growing number of people have already become collectors.
As a songwriter and musician, I have performed in Folk Clubs and at Folk Festivals all over Britain and a number of my songs, “Be Sure”, “First and Last Time”, “Young Soldiers Lament” and “Closing Song” have been performed by other folk singers.
